More Copics

I printed off more of my drawings from drawing class and colored it with Copics. As I recall drawing that candle stick was difficult and such a simple looking object. I do much better with organic shapes rather than angles and lines. But that is my weakness in drawing so I guess I need to do more if it. Drawing is hard---hard in a sense that I don't want to push through it when I start it. Sometimes the push pays off but sometimes it doesn't.

I am looking forward to my Copics class next week. Even though I think I have about figured them out I am sure I will learn some good info and tips.

All of your Copic drawings have been wonderful. And you're taking a class, why????? Looks to me like you've almost mastered them. Happy Friday!

Oh Martha, I've been catching up on all your copic marker adventures. YOu go girl! Your shadowing is spot on. My eye follows the intricate layers without over doing it. How do you do it? I will never look at a bell pepper or pear the same again. Hugs, gina

p.s. Just like Lori, please know how much I heart you for linking me in your blog roll. Your kindness means so much coming from a beautiful artist such as yourself. thank you...

Yes, yes to organic versus structure! Though I can't draw, it is by far my preference in my beadwork. Turning off the left brain and focusing on the right. So much movement, depth and freedom.
