...with abandon

Usually I show the two page spread of these large journals but this time the left page just wasn't up blog snuff so I just posted the right side. Sometimes I actually do create art with abandon and other times it's like pulling teeth. I wonder why that is? I have no idea. But the flowers are happy and this page came together with abandon. I lost a few teeth on the other side.

I cannot wait to see what your new online class is all about, Martha .....I'm sure it will be delightful and inspiring.

I would love for you to do an online class with your poppies and your little "drop" flowers. I so admire them.

I read your blog daily and always find beautiful artwork. Thank you for the time and effort you put into your blog - it really shows.

It's hard to figure isn't it, why one piece comes together in a flurry of creative flow and another will challenge you to the max! another beautiful page, I'm sure your new class will be a winner.

The sawtooth border frames this so beautifully, and the colors are soft and spring-like. Nice!

Martha, what a beautiful journal page this is! I can see the same lettering as in your wonderful Calligrafun class! I am enjoying your class by the way! I am so glad I am taking it!

It is nice to see you honor your tiny mistake and keep journaling. Seeing your journal pages are Real Life Day to Day Art. Thank you.

what a funny way to put it. that is a lovely page you made! i guess even the page that doesn't reach your blog standard would be lovely to me.

I second the vote to include your poppies in a class! I am gathering my tools and will start your Calligra-Fun class soon - perhaps this weekend. Exciting to know you may have a journaling class.

What kinds and how many journals do you keep?

Great page Martha and I ask that question myself from time to time and still haven't got a satisfactory answer.
Also looking forward to seeing what your new class will be like
Lee:)
