The nature of the process...

This one is an 8x8. Maybe it doesn't look like it but I am struggling with keeping it loose. My right brain is screaming at me again saying "that doesn't look like a flower!"  Does anyone know how to make the left brain be quiet? It's very interesting that every painting carries a different experience. Sometimes it's easy and it just flows and other days I struggle. I think that is just the nature of the process.

Another beautiful piece, you're one busy girl! I love it. I think if we knew how to shut that side of the brain up,we would all be better off. LOL.

It's beautiful! Lovin' the flowers and that white script running through. Just beautiful.

When I squench my eyes it looks perfect. And isn't that the test?

My left brain is a royal pain and often keeps me all structured when I want to be free, free, free! I think you did a great job of shushing it!

Really lovely. I have the same struggle. It helps me to work at an easel while standing and reminding myself to step back frequently to get a different perspective.
Big brushes don't let you fuss with minute details.
Love that you share your progress & you encourage me to get busy with my paints.

Oh my. This sounds so familiar. You did achieve a loose painterly feeling.
