Here is the Italian countryside all finished. I think I got tired or frustrated toward the bottom because it seemed so monotonous but then I decided to add some fluorescent red paint to give it an extra punch. I never use that paint so I was glad I could use it. It really is very bright. I think it is finished. I will probably tweek it maybe after I look at it for a few days. This is big for me (12x24) as I said yesterday I really want to try and paint bigger. I think I am warmed up for my oil painting class today painting with a pallet knife.

This is just stunning! Maybe it's because I'm Italian or something, but it just makes my heart leap and flutter!
Gorgeous stippling..and I loved seeing the progression! I've been meaning to paint on a couple of the stockpiled canvases I have here, laying in wait...but just haven't been inspired .... Perhaps you have given me some inspirational food for thought!
Thanks again, dear Martha!
