I drew a girl instead

...instead of shopping on black Friday, that is...
I chickened out and decided I would stay home and shop online
and draw a girl. I will paint her and blog her tomorrow.

I think you made the better choice :-)

You did make the better choice. I went out later in the day, and it wasn't as bad, but it looked like a bomb went off in all of the stores. I have a lot of shopping to do, but just can't seem to get into that mode yet. I think I'll just enjoy my leisure time until next week, and then I have to start up again.

You were smart...My hubby and I took our two oldest grandchildren ( 6 and 31/2) to a college football game. We had a lot of fun.....

I'd rather shop in peace. The driving and parking alone is crazy enough on Black Friday. I do hope Black Friday was successful for the retailers, but I'd rather see it spread out a little and not so much in one day!
The girl appears to be saying "Look deep into my soul, please understand me." She also looks incredibly sweet and innocent.

This girl is adoring you as a very wise woman who made the best choice to stay home and draw her beautiful self. Holly Jolly to you...
