This is acrylic with layers bubble wrap stamping, stamps, punchenella, and collage paper. It's on a 12 x 12 x 1.50 canvas and the sides are painted a brownish red. I painted the faces on another piece of paper and pasted it on--- and you can totally see that it is pasted on even though I tried hard to hide it with the hair. Well, it
IS a mixed media collage. Who's to say I can't collage the face on!? Hopefully the collage police won't cite me.

the police called...they said the only comment they had was that they loved the painting...
Lovely ladies and yes, it is mixed media.
How lovely. They look so sweet and pretty.
(I'm sure that you notice about the faces so much more than anyone else would. I think we're our own worst critics! It's because you are so familiar with every brushstroke and glue)
I think the collages faces give them more dimension. They are lovely and I love the piece. The butterfly is the perfect extra touch and I adore the background. It looks so much like a old wallpapered wall. You did great...
these two gals look so cute and happy (maybe they just had lunch and shared a big chocolate dessert!). i like the idea of pasting on their faces...it adds instant texture!
p.s. loved your sunflowers yesterday! :)
That is really so pretty. Love it. It looks just perfect to me.
I'll check out your shop. Love unique things.
