Freedom

Actually after I wrote this page the envelopes arrived so I will start them today. This page is in the 7x10 Canson journal. I did make a journal today with the Canson Edition paper I recently purchased from Dick Blick. I really struggled with how to make it.  I couldn't decide what size... or to sew or not to sew... and I gave myself a headache with all the decisions but I finally decided to just use the Rubicoil and do a spiral bound. So hopefully I can blog some pages in this new journal. After the Tylenol for the headache I really do like the new journal now.

Lovely lettering! Do you come up with the fonts on your own or do you use some guides for the alphabet?

Your Copperplate is beautiful Martha! Wishing you fine lines, relaxed shoulders, arms and back and good concentration. (and a nice massage at the end of each day!)

Calculate a quota of how many envelopes you need to do each day, but make sure you pad it with several days off. Then you will know if you are on schedule, and you can *breathe*. You can do it!! XOXO

I love my Canson paper too, although my only options are to stitch as I don't have the cool binder thingy :-) I have to say though, learning to make your own journals is the way to go for me, gives a freedom to select and size that you just don't find in prefab journals.

Martha, you always have something bright and cheery on your blog...you are so talented...both your lettering and artwork are amazing! I have been struggling to figure out what to do for a journal so I finally just bought one and I have paper to make one...it's the fear of the unknown, I guess...be blessed and have a great weekend!
