More in the Fabric Journal

I just have a few more pages in this journal and I will be sad when it's filled up. I have enjoyed this cloth journal and will probably make another one. But I need to start on another of the many journals that I already have and try to keep up with the journaling each day. That is my goal--at least to try and accomplish this in this lifetime! Maybe I will try some bright colors next. These pages need some sort of punch but for now...tout va bien.

Oh, and only the cover is cloth. I used this paper for the pages.

These pages are so pretty! I love the color combinations you used. I checked out a few of your other posts that I missed and I'm so inspired by your photoshop pics too!

Oh Martha these pages are beautiful. Have you not noticed the little punch of color already there? The bright tag peeking over the top of the left page. The bit of pink at the top of the right page. The lovely burst of deep brown red on the flower on the right page. The wisdom. It is all a burst of color. I love these pages and so sad you have a cold. I find it amamazing this is on cloth. Wow!

Isn't it an odd sort of feeling when a favorite journal is filled up? While there's a sense of accomplishment and the joy of being able to look back to revisit it anytime..as well as the anticipation of beginning a new one, it's a strange feeling to complete one...and move on. I felt your happiness when working and playing in your fabric journal, Martha!

Love your journals Martha! And that you used note cards for it - what a grand idea! You didn't even have to fold them did you? I've got some that I'm going to use for the very same thing!

I like your fabric journal a lot.One of these days I am going to get busy and make one.

Some of the words you penned remind me of that verse, "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." 2 Cor. 10:5
