Greenville Happenings

What a beautiful fall day here in Greenville. In a week or so the leaves will be gorgeous. We went on a hike today and found some dandelions.

Macaulay had terrible back pain last night and we thought it was the baby but they sent her back home. No labor yet but she is less than a week away. She is better today. That's why we were walking--maybe that will bring on labor. We don't know what the severe back pain was but Morgan might just be sitting on her back muscles or something.

Here are some comp journal doodlings.

So glad to see you post! I've missed your daily postings, but I see you've been busy with far more important things. :)

Through Lori's blog, I found the video to make a simple handbound journal, which I made. I did a fall theme for it and just finished the last of the pages today. Ready to go on to the next one, except I signed up for the 2012 Sketchbook Project and will have 32 pages to fill for that. I'm sure I will do many two-page spreads for that. It has to be finished and mailed back in by mid-January.

I love how the scripture verse just pops off the page with your shadows etc.

Your little grandson is sooooo cute! Bet he's a pile of fun.

Greenville-where? Not Michigan? I have a Greenville right around the corner from me and our leaves are just turning in the last couple of weeks. Looks like you are having a nice time- what a darling little boy!

Back from our family reunion and to my computer to see if the newest blessing had arrived. Praying for no more back pain and the new little miracle.

Hi Martha! I like how you lettered "Morgan" -- it's different from your regular Calligra-fun style. I know I haven't been very active on the workshop site since I finished the course but I've been using what I learned and have finally developed a bit of a personal style combining your techniques with a bit of traditional calligraphy. I appreciate you sharing your creativity with the rest of us. :)
