Sweet Red headed sisters

These girls are a combination of colored pencils and copic markers. It's a pretty good combination because the pencil color doesn't move and the copics just seem to smooth it out a bit. I am hoping that one day that I will get up the courage to draw the rest of the body. I have done that but lately I guess it's all about the faces. I am enjoying my "faces phase" but Bernie is getting pretty lonely so I think I need to play with her a bit. I am sure that there will be "Remains of the Day" for that.

I'm going to have to try these copic markers that keep popping up in everyone's blog. So you put on the pencil first, and then the marker? And also, you and me both on the bodies--when that's class coming up? :) Did you see that Suzi is having a G. & P.class II in March?

Thanks Martha about the copic markers. Every month I treat myself to Dick Blick :) And this time, before I do, I'll let you know--I know these markers are a bit pricey. And I know Suzi was talking about 3/4 view and side views in one of her videos, but I'm not sure that's what the class will be about, But I know what you mean. She really surprised me with her teaching--I wasn't expecting this from her--I really like her--her enthusiasm.

These really do like sisters. Very much alike however just different enough to be individuals. You are so talented. Keep creating...

I feel the same about the bodies,I even went to the library and got some books on sketching bodies. But for now I'm just doing the faces over and over. Your faces are gorgeous, love the way the coptic markers look over the pencils.
