Birmingham Journal Page

I had about a 31/2 hour wait at the Birmingham airport coming back to Jacksonville. I could have slept longer and waited and lingered longer at the hotel but I was anxious to check in and get all the hard tasks behind me---like picking up my 75lb suitcase. It was all those supplies that I didn't need! Lisa brought everything we would need. So I started this page at the airport and finished it at home. I also really had an enjoyable time waiting at the airport. When you have MI-FI---time flies!!!

Loving your art journal and how you find time to play no matter where you are.

I am trying to teach myself calligraphy and I am having fun, but now realize how much work and practice it is going to take.

This is fabulous Martha! Is it watercolor paper in your journal? You and Lisa in one room had to be magical!! You're both unbelievably talented :)

Oh my gosh!!! Do I love this!! It is beautiful!! I have to tell you when I first looked at it I did not see the o on Hello - thought it said Hell Tuesday!!! lol

Marthy, thank you for your lovely comment you left me today. I wish we lived closer - would love to spend time with you. Greg's sister moved back to Fernandina, so the next time we visit (which unfortunately we don't do too often) we will need to get together.

Hugs!!

I'm glad you made it home safe and had such a good time! Love this journal page. I'm learning to take art supplies with me when I know I'll have to wait somewhere too.

What a fun page Martha. We are so fortunate as artists to be able to occupy ourselves no matter where we are.
Great job!

Love your journal page....and nice that you had something to keep you occupied while waiting at the airport. I hate airports...other that the people watching you can do....lol!!!
Love all the colors on your pages.
I got my complete set of C.markers today, so I have been playing with them all evening while the tube is on....nice way to pass the time while nothing is on....
