This is paste paper. I wrote the "believe" first with a ruling writer on the blank paper with Black Cat India ink to see if it would stay put and show through the paste paper. There is potential here actually. If the lettering goes on first then that might relieve some of the layout lettering decisions. I might try more of these. This is an 8.50 x 11 sheet of Arches Text Wove paper. I also enhanced it a bit in Photoshop.

"BELIEVE"

this is a very cool look! i'm glad that putting the lettering on before the paste worked. we love knowing that we have those options!
