Two days in the big journal...

I do think I have been recharging somewhat lately but anytime I create and write in my big journal I am recharging. My goal is to one day to paint a big masterpiece in acrylic or oils but that day hasn't come yet. One of these days  maybe I will but in the meantime, I will enjoy my journals and my little color drop flowers and the Poppies...and the calligraphy of course. And my girls... I love to paint my girls...they keep me company here at the studio.

When I need a pick me up now, I paint some color drop flowers. They just make me happy, especially when I add a little scripture to them....afraid my Calligrafun is not so successful yet...I will keep trying when things slow down.

Martha I'm working on my first large painting now. It's by request, for my daughter, and part of what I'm doing was inspired by seeing your knife painting. I blended that with some other techniques I've learned and it's working for me. So thank you. xo

Martha, I am so inspired by your artwork! I just started to get into art journaling a year ago and have slowly been working on improving my drawing and lettering. I plan to sign up for your calligra-fun video workshop soon and can't wait to go shopping for pens. :)

Love your big Journal! What kind of Journal/paper do you use for this?

Martha, creating a huge masterpeice sounds fantastic!
If it feels to large to begin with break it up into your pages and mould them together where they join. It woild look so radical. Just imagine a large peice if art with all you encouraging words and pretty faces all over, wow!
All your art is brilliant no matter how big, also!
Hugs!

Inspiration comes from everywhere. Timing is also part of knowing when to do something. When the two come together, anything is possible. Wishing you both to go forward with the "big one".

Oh what a happy and beautiful spread, it just draws me in and I want to look closer. Very pretty! One of those girls should absolutely very soon become a painting of some sort if you ask me! :-)
