Spring is blooming!

I think that I enjoy putting these pages together from my big grid journal the best. As I have said before, there is just something comforting about a grid. I have many journals and each one has different paper so that will determine what I can put on them. This paper is thin so watercolor is definitely not great although I do use it and blot quickly. I actually held the Azaleas Calligra-Fun letters. And that's Sunny looking in. Have a great day y'all! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

and these are beautiful pages, they just sing spring, which is a ways off where I live :-)
I love a larger journal as well, and oh paper does matter, what are some of your favourites?

Martha I just love your pages and especially your lettering. Question... do you teach the lettering you used for the 'B'? as in an online class? I see you have calligraphy on line, is this the same thing?

Your bright flowers are perfect! WE have heavy rain and flood warnings, so it's 'gloom city' here but I know Spring is coming!

I really like the grids, Martha. They make the pages seem manageable! And they are so much fun with all that movement. Always the inspiration, you are.

Between the grids and the "bigness", the joy of this is that there is so much to look at on the spread. Just lovely.

Man, I love these pages! If grids help, I say, go for it!

Hey, for "dry" and very easy color, try wiping the side of a pastel stick with a kleenex and rubbing that kleenex onto the journal page.

It sounds too simple, but it works! :) XOXO, Donna
