I painted a sunflower with help from my son in the first instance, his hands work well as petal basis then i just built it up with some help from my hands and more paint and i recycled a plate to paint it on :)Fotfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04081356386647092810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5039030048391705293.post-57056861128531008412010-06-28T11:59:32.189-04:002010-06-28T11:59:32.189-04:00I love your art the way it is. This is "realistic" in that it looks 3-D and is a recognizable flower in a pot but it's not photo-realism and my take on that is if you want it really realistic, take a photo! Your art feels alive and fun sharing emotions and that is what I like in art.Timareehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15769047120660859743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5039030048391705293.post-35674582982423701382010-06-28T11:29:55.788-04:002010-06-28T11:29:55.788-04:00beautifully done....beautifully done....Janie Husbandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10033453463923479878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5039030048391705293.post-6579871456693125432010-06-28T09:53:04.728-04:002010-06-28T09:53:04.728-04:00Beautiful Sunflower. Painting realistically I'm seeing takes a very precise, patient approach, one I'd never be able to pull off, but appreciate the ability in others. Good on you for giving something new and so challenging a go and good luck figuring out if it's a good fit for you :-)Bren Graham Thebeauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00423052785015946898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5039030048391705293.post-24285823474750546832010-06-27T21:42:59.117-04:002010-06-27T21:42:59.117-04:00I love this- the orange background is gorgeous!I love this- the orange background is gorgeous!sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05439305584795731097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5039030048391705293.post-16753804812276797912010-06-27T21:40:42.679-04:002010-06-27T21:40:42.679-04:00Oh, Martha, I love your sunflower.
