This is just a lovely way to study Scripture, Martha! I find when I take notes I retain things better... and this is a step beyond that. You must be able to really focus and soak it in while making it visual.
I love your pretty journaling! I also Bible journal but I'm nowhere near as talented as you are. I mainly just write and use stickers, washi tape, etc. I love that no matter what medium we use to journal, the focus is on God's word. Hugs and God bless you!
She is using a Journaling bible and you can find them on Amazon as well as at your local Christian Bookstore. They are relatively inexpensive - I think I paid about $35.00 for mine, which is the one that she has and if your local Christian Store has coupons - use it. After I used my coupon I only paid about $20.00. I have found this to be the most amazing way to study and Martha's pages are lovely and awe inspiring.
