So excited!

I am just beside myself right now. My new Samsung monitor runs from my iPad so now I can paint from my iPad from the monitor! It's amazing how these Apple products just work. I plugged it in and it worked! Go figure! Thank you Steve Jobs.

WIP in the easel. I am doing little studies where you paint a first statement then scrape it off and then a second and scrape it off then paint a third and final. By that time your colors and composition should be right---"should" be., that is. This is after the second statement. It wasn't from the monitor as you can see. It was a still life.

  1. Sounds exciting, but I must be too techno challenged yet, because I don't understand this all the way. Wow!

  2. Are you painting digitally, on your iPad? Or is your iPad camera capturing you painting and transmitting to your computer screen?

  3. OK, we really need more details here! I have the same questions as the other ladies. What does it mean you are "painting on your iPad"?

  5. Martha, when you say 1st statement then scrape it off, 2nd and do the same..final and voila ! Don't the colours smudge when you are scraping it off? Is this a Dreama technique?

  7. OK, me too... please. How do you hook an iPad up to a monitor? I assume you're using the monitor for your reference photo... is that correct?
    thanks Martha!
