This is Day 6's painting. I actually painted this one twice. The first was a scrape-off but I am not going to get upset over scrape-offs because it's just that many more hours into my 10,000 hours to become a master oil painter.(I am reading Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell) This was a simple set- up on some fabulous material I just got from FabricGuru.com. Actually it has cute dots in it too that I attempted to do in the first painting but...so much for the cute dots.
The colors you chose for this are so happy and joyful! I love it.
ReplyDeleteI miss being in Jacksonville so much! Did you know I moved to Fort Worth 6 months ago? I still tell the story about how I met you.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. I realized that my post was leading back to an old blog...if you click on gifts of creation now, it should lead back to my current art blog where you can see my most recent projects. Sorry about that!
