I knew that I wanted to expand my outreach but just didn't quite know how to do it. Now that I have found the Fine Art Newsletter format I am really excited and had a blast creating it for this week.

ReplyDeleteI hope you see this because I couldn't find a blog site or email to. Here are my suggestions on how to find an art group:
Join your local Art, Mixed Media or Watercolor society.
Go consistently and start to take some local classes in the area of your art interest. Ask some friends you know to maybe go with you. If your invited friends catch the bug then you have your art group. Basically, go where the artists are and bring some friends along. I have found that most everyone would like to be creative so inviting friends won't be hard. If you belong to a church then ask your church friends. Good luck and hope this helps.
