Is there a such thing as a red pear? I guess it really doesn't matter at all because I have painted blue ones before and I am sure there are no blue pears!
This is on my favorite paper--300 lb Arches watercolor paper.
love your pears! When does your pear class start??? Could you post the date somewhere on your blog. I want to take it but I can´t find the start date anywhere or could you point me in the right direction please...maybe I need glasses:) oooh yes, I think you should do some polka dot pears...that is a great idea!
My dear husband gave me some money as one of his Christmas presents and said get something special. I just signed up for you class. That is my "special". I hope to hear Bucky bark a few times too!
Asian Red Pears. I love them. They tast like they have already been mulled with spices right off the tree! The sad thing is that we just don't get them shipped here in the right state of ripeness too often. I only buy them for inspiration now.
But I agree with everyone else. Any color with these techniques!
you could paint pink and purple polka dot pairs and they'd still look good!
ReplyDeleteLovin the warmth of the pears! Wonderful backgrounds...oooooh.
