Making progress--not sure which which direction..

I just didn't like the stems so ...
...when all else fails---crackle paste! I will have to decide what color it should be and it needs a darker glaze so the cracks will show.

YAY! Crackles. Not sure what color to paint it.  Maybe it should just stay white/light-ish.

I added a crackle top and some more crackles down the front.

    I kind of like the white-ish vase, it repeats the little white flower color and looks good with the background colors. Whatever you choose will be good I have no doubt!

    I love to watch your process. I've stumbled across a few blogs that do that but not many. Most just show the finished piece. Its always nice to see that even accomplished artists don't get it the way they like it the first time....that its a process. Love the crackles on the vase but i miss the sunburst? stencils you used earlier and must have covered up. Hugs! deb

    You know, when I saw the way you have it shaded, knowing it is done with crackle past, my first thought was McCoy pottery.

    There are a few styles that are a nice milky chocolate color with green similar to the green at the bottom that kinda dribbles from the lip of the vase collar. If it is opaque you don't have to do stems at all!
