Working on the Saint Remy

Chauncey is going on 4 hours putting together the very unsaintly Saint Remy Easel. The directions are completely worthless but when it's put together it will be fabulous. I keep telling myself that. He is trying hard  to figure out what goes where by basically looking at the picture. He thought he had it together only to find out it was wrong. He is a patient man. He will gain great reward in heaven... that is for sure!  I am just trying to provide moral support but I am of no use at all.  Bucky is trying his best also. We are both pretty useless.

Ok, so now after about 5 hours, (we stopped to eat and watch coach Eric Taylor win an Emmy for our favorite cancelled show, Friday Night Lights!)
He finished! And yes, it is fabulous and it rolls around and turns into a table and I am excited! Even Bucky feels better too.

  3. What a lovely man.
Patience and technical know-how. Great combination. [I speak from experience. But my Himself has to put up with my impatience during tricky endeavours. Yours is lucky by all accounts]
    Love the workroom.

  4. Ah what would we do without our sweet men. My man made me an easel out of old wood - it's so solid I don't think a nuclear explosion would destroy it. You will have lots of happy times spent at its side.

  15. i am having a terrible time trying to put my St. Remy together. Would your hubby please advise or post a video? There is NO video on the internet anywhere and it would be greatly appreciated! He could be a star!!

    Thanks,

  16. I have this easel and while I have bought many, many brands over the years for my classroom, nothing compares to this easel. Once you have this one, you don't want anything else! It's quite the effort to put together, but well worth it.
