Midnight Song

It seems like I wait until the middle of the night to paint these birds. I really don't know why but I am enjoying painting them and creating a mixed media background. I never know exactly how they will turn out. I dropped in Hydrus color for his body. He is singing a song.

    HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT DOING A MIDNIGHT WORKSHOP FOR ALL US HORMONAL WOMEN WHO WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND CAN'T GO BACK TO SLEEP??? YOU WOULD HAVE A HUGE CROWD.

    Your birds are beautiful! I need to practice drawing birds- they seem simple to do, but my birds turn out strange for some reason! Once my niece asked me what was a fish doing in the flowers. "That's not a fish! It's a bird!" "Ohh, sorry!" Patsy from
