I just couldn't settle down last night so I got up and painted another bird. It took maybe 15 minutes or so. Then I guess I had "scratched the itch" that was keeping me from settling down so then I went on back to bed. I have this book coloring book and I try to sketch the birds out by had without tracing . It is a skill that needs practice so I try to look at something and draw it.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful bird Martha, thats what I have been trying to do more is to sketch what I see,I think the more practice the better.Although it doesnt seem like you need to much practice with your birds.
ReplyDeleteIts a beautiful bird! I have a friend who is taking a class based on the book drawing on the right side of the brain. Second week was all about drawing what you see, not what you think you should see.
