Getting there---in progress

She is also in the Moleskine journal. I love the paper in this journal. It is very smooth and takes colored pencil really nicely.  I will say it again, Tam from Willowing is great!

Just a napkin for the background--now for the dreaded hair!  Her face is painted with Shiva paint sticks. Maybe tomorrow she will have hair color. Perhaps brown--ish.

  3. This is delicious, just love the napkin background. You may not like painting the hair but you sure do a great job of it.

  5. Hmm... Martha... I think she is lovely and I love that you used a napkin for the background. I have to agree with Janie's comment, I think she looks blonde to me too.

  7. Your pages are beautiful and I love how you added so much depth with the napkin. How would she look with deep red/sienna/burgundy/auburn hair? It is her amazing green eyes making me think this. Happy painting...

  11. She is angelic. I like the white. I'm just learning to switch from pencil to "paint", color really. I'm also considering buying some Shiva paintstiks. What colors did you use and would you mind if I practice off of your girl? I absolutely love the warmth and glow of her face? I completely understand if you say no.
