I haven't made a book in quite a while but I always have a drawer full of pieces that I can put in. This book is a bigger one, 11 x 12, and I had fun making the file folder pockets. I have a great desire to use a coptic stitch to sew these books but I chickened out on this one and decided to just use the Rubicoil. I love the Rubicoil because I can tie on all sorts of fibers. It was fun!

ReplyDeleteMarvelous!! Very inspiring. I'm just learning about making backgrounds and have some bits and pieces piled up. Maybe I'll do something in a book, too. And I agree, sometimes just making them is all it's about... no particular use in mind.

ReplyDeleteLOve the book, and thanks for showing how you add your pages... I had tried this before and punched the art, and rendered it unusable. Will definitely use the tabs in the future. Also a great way to store your drawings and paintings until you decide what to do with it. Bravo!!!
