Well, I just couldn't stand it... even though it is way too hot, I had to go out to the red shed and spray. I must be addicted to the fumes. The mosquitoes were on the attack even though I had my eucalyptus on me (apparently that doesn't work). But I sprayed two large sheets of Arches Text Wove so Lori can make more journals. I scanned them as best I could so I could print some off for my journals and play with them in Photoshop. The lettering on the top is a digital stamp of my lettering that I made in Photoshop. That is SO FUN to make those digi-stamps(they are actually brushes).
I will be leaving for the weekend so I just wanted to say thank you (always) for your sweet and encouraging comments. I won't be able to visit your blogs to see what you have been up to but have a wonderful weekend everyone and I will see you all next week!
These are SO fun. Vanilla extract helps with mosquitoes as does Skin So Soft.
ReplyDeleteLOL addicted to the fumes, you're so funny. Love your new page. And have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love that Torch quote and how you blended it with the heart collage...Have a blast this weekend, Martha!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. As always, love your pages. I have got to get to work on some art .. Be safe
ReplyDeletethis is wonderful, i love spray paint art journal pages...
ReplyDeleteMosquitoes love me no matter what, my husband thought Deet was my perfume. Finally I just keep hummingbird feeders and bat houses in the yard so they can dine on the mosquitoes, reduce the amount of snacking on me.
ReplyDeleteI digress. Your art is so much fun, so wonderfully cheering and uplifting!
Calligraphy is something I admire so much yet, I can never try.. I love your calligraphy~!!!

can't wait to see the new stencil pages.....you've definitely earned your "hazard pay" by fighting off the mosquitos (maybe they're addicted to the fumes, too!).
