I am enjoying working in this small journal. Sometimes it takes a bit longer than 15 minutes although I try to keep it to about that. It's very fun but I think I might start with a bigger one too and see how I do. I love to cut and paste. I always did as a child and I do remember some people eating the paste. Do you remember that? It must have been tasty.
Thanks for sharing your journal pages, friend. I could use some grace today and everyday.
ReplyDeleteBlessings~
Hi Martha! I love your journal pages. You always share such great spiritual creations. Thanks so much for your touching visit! Blessings to you! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! (do I sound like a broken record?) but it's true-I love your art. Yes, I remember the paste always smelled yummy, hopefully I didn't eat it though lol. OH! I thought of you so much as we went over that lovely bridge. . . . maybe next year I could sneak away and meet you for lunch or coffee.
ReplyDeleteLove your journal pages. And yes I remember when kids used to eat paste,I never did but I always liked picking it off my fingers.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh! thank you sooo much!!!

ReplyDeleteJust lovely! Colors, composition, message....everything.
ReplyDeleteAh paste...so delicious it was. Spooned out on a paper towel on our school desks with a tongue depressor.
Beautifully done, love the colours and your beautiful lettering. Keep on cutting and pasting because we are enjoying consuming your creations :-)
ReplyDeletebeautiful pages...and yes, I remember the paste eaters :)
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and your art is amazing. God has truly gifted you! My Mom became a painter after all her 4 children grew up and left the house. She had never painted before, in all her years of raising small children. :) She inspires me today to know that there is an artist in all of us wanting to come out.
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you ref. to your journals. I began an art journal many moons ago. :) and I was wondering how it really is done. Do you past and glue on the actual pages of the book? or do you do it on a paper and then glue it to the pages of the book?
BTW, I think I will take your calligraphy class. I have always been fascinated by beautiful handwriting.
Oh, thank you for sharing your art and talents with us!! :)
God bless you and keep you in all His ways. :)

This is really, really beautiful! Thanks for sharing your pages.
ReplyDeleteCan you hear me cracking up?! I burst out laughing at your paste line. I never ate it, but I remembered why other kids did: it smelled like pepsin (Pepto Bismol to me!). Now I am remembering the time I put a staple through my finger in art class...I probably haven't changed much.
ReplyDeleteI think with the EPA all the good old taste has been taken out of paste. Love your journal pages. Your colors are always so beautiful together. Happy creating...
ReplyDeleteLove your pages Martha and your new banner. Are you taking Pam Carriker's online 365? I wanted to take that just to be prompted but couldn't manage it with everything that goes on in my life. One day...maybe.
ReplyDeleteMartha, Martha, Martha, I love this one more than any so far I think. I just love the pear, the saying and the whole look. Great going girlfriend.
ReplyDeleteMartha, I AM LOVING your journal!
ReplyDeleteI clicked and made that bigger and ALL your fabulous details in coulor and different interests with color and paints is wonderful! You can do something like this in 15 minutes??? That is amazing........really beautiful!
