Well, I have come to the end of this little red journal. It has been so much fun filling this one up because it is such a great size being 6x6 for each page. This girl is painted from a sketch and collaged on. I painted her with acrylics but then smoothed her out with shivas. Now on to more of Sharon's class! Sometimes my girls turn out really really ugly and I have to rip them up. It happens often. No ugly girls allowed! But sometimes one is borderline and she will slip in.
Sharon's new lesson starts tomorrow :D
ReplyDeleteAnother famously wonderful work from the lovely Martha...!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think that you could possibly do 'ugly'...your 'ugly is probably really great too!
Looking forward to your new sketchbook? It's always fun to start with a new one for me!
ciao until tomorrow
She is very beautiful and I am so happy you have surrounded her with hearts. I cannot imagine you would throw any of your paintings away as they are far superior to anything I could possibly draw. I would love to retrieve your trash. LOL :o) Keep creating...
ReplyDeleteWhat an accomplishment Martha. The girls are great.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful feeling it must be to see the journal completed. And filled with such loveliness!! I would love to see a photo of all of the pages together. You know how people do those little square things. I cannot for the life of me retrieve the name I am searching for!!! Well, it's time for a new estrogen patch!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend Marthy, we are expecting snow - yeah right - I will believe it when I see it!!!
Hugs!!!
Wonderful journal page Martha!! I love your girls, and the hearts really make it sing!! I admire you for being able to finish a journal. I have several of them started, and none finished. One of these days, I will have to get at least one finished!!! yeah, right!!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean, but your girls are always beautiful! I can not believe that there is ever a bad one in the bunch:)
ReplyDeletecongrats on filling up another journal with your beautiful artwork!! it's a masterpiece, for sure!! :))
ReplyDeleteHi Martha, I think we all get something ugly now and then. It goes with the territory. Rather than throwing them out I cut mine up and use parts of them in different collages. Just a thought.
