Hand Carved Alphabet stamps

I haven't used these in a while---I felt like stamping and rummaged into my art stuff and found them. I carved these alphabet stamps several years ago and for some reason I haven't used them very much. I outlined with a black marker and put a little shading from my Copics. It was quick, fun, and easy--art du jour. I love the Scripture too---it's one of my favorites. The rest of it goes..."and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5.

  2. Marthy, you did a great job carving these, use them more! :)

I had a picture of God's word coming down in the form of lovely fall leaves.

    Have a good day!

  5. Oh I love this Martha. And the colors you picked. Everything is still green hear and well some brown and yellow. I want Fall colors before the cold sets in. Oh how I hope we don't just wake up one day with ice upon us and the trees dumping all those lovely leaves without a chance of a fancy color dance.
Those stamps are awesome, you should use them morte often.

  9. Oh, Martha, I have been enjoying your blog today! A long time ago I, too, carved the very same alphabet ... but your use of it by stamping it in the various colours and adding accents with a [Pigma?] marker makes it dance and sing!
