This is on the background of the first canvas I posted several days back. The Scripture is from Proverbs 31--"Strength and dignity are her clothing and she smiles at the days to come".... and there is Scripture along the sides.
she is so sweet and peaceful...i think that she's my favorite. of course every time you post a new painting, that's my new favorite! they're ALL my favorites! :)
Martha, I was just catching up on your blog and can I just say YOU ARE AMAZING! I love the women you are painting SO much. The backgrounds are just gorgeous and the faces and expressions are gorgeous. This one is so sweet and the 2 girls with butterflies in their hair a while back!?! LOVE! i really like the calm and peaceful, almost meditative look on her face. perfect subject for the delightful background! how fun to see the background a few days ago and then today see the finished piece.
